225Gives Explained: Why You Should Contribute

225Gives, presented by Capital Area United Way (CAUW), is a 24-hour online giving day. It helps generate philanthropic giving for area nonprofits. This powerful online fundraising initiative unites the Capital Region in support of our nonprofit community.

Although this is billed as a day of giving, you can begin making donations on Thursday, April 20, 2023. So don't wait! We need your help today!

As we gear up for the 225Gives online giving campaign, I'm excited to share our progress and achievements with you. Through our programs, events, and alliances, we've been able to break down barriers, empower individuals, and create lasting change that benefits everyone. From our community gardens to our entrepreneurship programs to our community building initiatives, we're making a real difference in the lives of those impacted by poverty.
