"Hello, everyone! I am extremely excited to be a part of this community. With my unique background, I feel like I have the skills and knowledge necessary to really do the best I can to make an impact here at The Walls Project.

I grew up in a low-income, single-parent family in 'Small-Town, Illinois'. I then moved away to the city to get a degree from Northwestern University located near Chicago where I graduated as a double major in sociology and English.

After graduating, I needed to escape the polar vortexes of the midwest and moved 1000 miles away to Louisiana, where I knew I wanted to do whatever I could to help anyone I could, especially those who I could relate to. I started out here working in the prison system and helping offenders get college degrees, and now I am with this amazing organization! I can't wait to meet you all and I look forward to the future with Futures Fund!"
